Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and HOLINESS without which no one will ever see the Lord. Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look to see that you do not fall back from and fail to secure God's grace, which is His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing. We know this scripture better as … Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God. (Hebrews 12:12-13a) In these verses we hear the “follow peace” but do we hear the “follow HOLINESS, without which no one will see the Lord?” This has been said before but bears saying again - HOLINESS is more that long skirts;

Deuteronomy 8:13b tells us to know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. Psalms 119:11 says that I have laid up God’s Word in my heart so that I wouldn’t sin against Him. John 8:31 speaks of Jesus saying to those who had believed in Him that if we really are abiding in His Word and holding fast to His teachings and living in accordance with them, then we are truly His disciples. John 17:17 tells us that we are sanctified, purified, consecrated, separated for Him, made holy by the Truth, and that God’s Word is Truth.
