Remember these lines?...

Through it all, through it all. I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God. Learning to lean, learning to lean. I’m learning to lean, on Jesus. Finding more power, than I’ve ever dreamed, I’m learning to lean, on Jesus. Just as we have all gone through a transition period in our lives, there was a season when I was not sure of my purpose. Trials, tribulations, test were coming from all sides. Then a few years ago, I was attending the International Church of God in Christ Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee and Bishop Brooks began to sing - God is able, God is able, to deliver, from the fire, He will rescue, those who trust Him, when the flames are, Burning higher, and higher, and higher, and higher, God Is Able!

That little hymn has remained with me ever since and has led me to the encouraging Word of God:

Hebrews 7:25 declares that God is able to save. II Corinthians 9:8 reminds me that God is able to make all grace abound. Daniel 3:17 helps me to recall the song and says that God is able to deliver. Jude 1:24 enables me to hold onto the fact that God is able to keep me from falling. II Timothy 1:12 allows me to declare that God is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him. Matthew 9:28 states that God is able to do this - for me, “this” is anything and all things.

I rejoice as I now continually rehearse the fact that God is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams (Ephesians 3:20). I rejoice as I rehearse my testimony of personal and spiritual victories. Remembering my past as a cocooned caterpillar: not in sin; not half stepping; not in the world and its ways; but yet comfortably wrapped up and satisfied seated! At ease in Zion, so to speak. Then remembering the Word of God.

(Romans 12:2)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

(I Peter 1:15)

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.

Remembering that I am now a HOLINESS butterfly, transformed with a fulfilled dream to fly. Not conforming, but standing on His Word and will for my life. Realizing and acknowledging that there are places I must go. Realizing and acknowledging that there are things that I must do. Realizing and acknowledging that there are words that I must speak and ministries that I must tend to.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. This is the time for me to bring forth my first fruits - it is my season.

(II Timothy 4:2)

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

We are living in a day, when as never before, not one more hour is promised to us. So we must look at HOLINESS as a now or never. We do not have time to question God. We do not have time to question sanctification. We do not have time to question HOLINESS! We only have right now to move and to move quickly. Move to answer the call to HOLINESS, which is exactly what God wants for each of us. God tells us to be perfect for He is perfect and Jesus desires us to be just like Him. As God’s adopted ones we carry His name - Christ-like, Christians, Saints of the most high God, HOLINESS people. Bishop Mason said we need to stop questioning and discussing - we are to just believe God. It’s just HOLINESS!

This is my time, my season to work. I am standing on the Word and the will of God and am blessed right now, residing and living and resting in the very essence of this season that I now find myself in: this season of work; this season of ministry; this season of higher heights and deeper depths in HOLINESS. This season when I received my directions from his Word in Ezra 7:10 to study and do and teach that there is a demand for HOLINESS that must be obeyed!

“There is a demand for HOLINESS

That must be obeyed

God’s demand is HOLINESS

No other way is made

HOLINESS in good times

HOLINESS in action

HOLINESS in word

God’s demand is HOLINESS

That must be obeyed.” © GELT

See you next Sunday morning, if the Lord says the same and delays His coming.
